SJ Gas Discharge Tubes

Littelfuse SJ Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) offer high surge ratings (3KA to 5KA surge capability tested with 8/20μs pulse) in a miniature package (4.5mm x 3.2mm x 3.2mm). The low insertion loss (0.01dB at 1.0GHz to 2.1dB at 3.5GHz) of the Littelfuse SJ series is well-suited to broadband equipment applications. These GDTs offer very low capacitance and show slight signal losses up to high frequencies in high-frequency data-line applications.
