UltraMOV 14mm Varistors

Littelfuse UltraMOV 14mm Varistors meet high peak surge current rating requirements with an operating voltage range compatible with common AC line voltages (130VAC to 625VAC). These metal oxide varistors are available in various lead forms and are rated for ambient temperatures up to +85°C with no derating. The lead-free, 14mm varistors can operate at temperatures up to +125°C and are characterized for maximum standby current (leakage). These features make the Littelfuse 14mm UltraMOV varistor series ideal for AC line voltage applications, LED lighting applications, and more.

LED Lighting Solutions

Electrical Vehicle AC Chargers

Although simpler in nature compared to DC chargers, AC charging stations safely deliver AC power from the electrical grid into the vehicle. Due to space and weight constraints in the vehicle, on-board chargers and AC charging stations are typically limited to lower amounts of power (22kW or less), which means charging time is slow – taking several hours. These systems also rely on a vehicle’s on-board charger to enable the conversion of AC power from the grid into DC power to charge the vehicle’s battery. Off-Board Charger Sub-Unit Power Converters
