PowerWize High-Current Interconnect System

Molex PowerWize High-Current Interconnect System is a high-current wire-to-board / wire-to-busbar interconnect system that allows engineers to deliver power throughout their designs. The two-circuit headers and receptacle housings are available in two sizes: 6mm (rated up to 120A) and 8mm (rated up to 175A). Mechanically keyed, color-coded versions are available for applications that require multiple headers on the same board. Color-coding ensures that cable assemblies are not mismated during system integration. The screw-mount headers can attach to either PCBs or busbars. Molex PowerWize applications include industrial automation, alternative energy, data centers, test and measurement, and telecommunication.

Pre-Crimped Leads

Molex Pre-Crimped Leads are a simple and cost-effective solution for any pre-production or prototype requirements. They are available in female-to-female, male-to-male, and female-to-pigtail configurations with lengths of 75mm to 600mm range. All pre-crimped leads are fully tested and available for the most popular Molex connector families. The leads are crimped on both ends, enabling use in wire-to-wire applications. The leads can also be cut for use in wire-to-board applications.

OTS PowerWize Cable Assemblies

Molex OTS PowerWize Cable Assemblies offer complete design flexibility and features that facilitate prototyping and global preproduction. These cables are mechanically keyed and color-coded with uniquely-positioned ribs on header housings and matching receptacle slots (based on connector color) to ensure only like-colored connectors mate. This helps prevent mismating of the assemblies when multiple wire-to-bard or wire-to-busbar interconnects are used in the same application. Positive locking with active latches on receptacles and barbed geometry on headers helps prevent cable assemblies from backing off headers due to shock, vibration, or mishandling. Molex OTS PowerWize Cable Assemblies' applications include data centers, industrial, test and measurement, and telecom/datacom.
