IEC 60318-4 Tested High SPL Audio Receivers

PUI Audio IEC 60318-4 Tested High SPL Audio Receivers are engineered for efficient coupling to ear canals or acoustic tubing and are compatible with 1cc couplers per IEC 60318-4 for standardized testing. The compact design with 10mm to 40mm diameters is ideal for applications requiring high sound pressure levels (SPL) in limited spaces. These audio receivers are tested using the IEC 60318-4:2010 international standard, which defines a measurement setup (ear simulator) for the acoustic performance testing of insert earphones in a way that closely mimics the human ear. PUI Audio IEC 60318-4 audio receivers offer impedance options from 16Ω to 50Ω, delivering SPLs from 100dB to 125dB at 1kHz when driven by 1mW and measured at 1cm. The devices maintain low total harmonic distortion (<5% THD) and consistent phase response across the audio band. Applications include medical devices, wearables, hearing assistance devices, and smart glasses.
