Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System with AutoDevKit™

STMicroelectronics Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System with AutoDevKit™ is a solution designed to emit vehicle warning sounds and alert pedestrians to the presence of quiet electric and hybrid vehicles. Quiet vehicles entail risks not to be acoustically detected by pedestrians and cyclists in the lower speed range. The noise emitted by electric and hybrid vehicles can easily be masked by the urban background noise. Therefore, guidelines have been developed in terms of an exterior noise required for detecting Quiet Road Transport Vehicles (QRTV). This solution is designed to address these guidelines.

AEK-CON-C1D9031 Connector Board

STMicroelectronics AEK-CON-C1D9031 Connector Board is a connector board dedicated to bridging the AEK-AUDD903V1 board hosting an FDA903D automotive digital class D power amplifier and AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 board hosting an SPC582B Chorus family automotive MCU with 1MB flash. The STM AEK-CON-C1D9031 Connector Board includes two main female strip connectors. One 19x2 is used for the AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1, while the 20x2 is used for the AEK-AUD-D903V1. An additional 15x2 male strip J2 connects the AEK-MCU-C1MLIT1 and AEKAUD-D903V1. Filling the connector with all jumpers is mandatory, except for the 19-20 (I²S Test) position.
