TAIYO YUDEN Ultra-Compact, Low-Profile MCOIL™ Power Inductors combine the advantages of both layered structures and metal materials through proprietary material and heat treatment technologies. Even with their ultra-compact and low-profile design, these modules offer low resistance and high current capabilities. Compared to ferrite products with the same inductance value, this series demonstrates approximately 53% lower resistance, 54% smaller case size, and about three times higher current capacity.

MCOIL™ Industrial Metal Power Inductors

TAIYO YUDEN MCOIL™ Industrial Metal Power Inductors offer high current capacity, low resistance, and low core loss in a compact design. MCOIL industrial inductors utilize metallic magnetic materials optimized for choke coils in power supply circuits of industrial equipment and communication infrastructure. Two flagship models are represented: the LBCN series, a multilayer type in an ultra-compact 1005 size, and the LBEN series, a wire-wound inductor that reduces core loss by approximately 30%. TAIYO YUDEN MCOIL Industrial Metal Power Inductors are suitable for power supply applications, such as base station communication equipment and servers.

TAIYO YUDEN LBCN Series Multilayer Metal Power Inductors offer a 2.6A to 4.8A current range, up to 1µH inductance rating, and a 20mΩ to 85mΩ DC resistance range. These inductors use metallic magnetic materials, ensuring excellent DC bias characteristics. TAIYO YUDEN LBCN Series Multilayer Metal Power Inductors are suitable for industrial equipment, factory automation, industry robots, base stations, and telecommunication infrastructure.
