Texas Instruments Quad-Channel Digital Isolators

Texas Instruments' ISO7241/ISO7242 quad-channel digital isolators are the fastest, most precise digital isolators with the highest magnetic immunity and longest life. The devices have a digital logic input and output buffer separated by TI's capacitive isolation barrier technology thath provides alvanic isolation of up to 4000V. The devices are available in 1Mbps, 25Mbps, and 150Mbps speed grades that can operate from 0Mbps to the rated speed. The devices block high-voltage, isolate grounds, and prevent noise currents from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry.

ISO7241C Digital Isolator

Texas Instruments ISO7241C Quad Channel, 3/1, 25Mbps, Digital Isolator is part of a digital isolator family with multiple channel configurations and output enable functions. This TI device has logic input and output buffers separated by TI's silicon dioxide (SiO₂) isolation barrier. These devices are used with isolated power supplies to block high voltage, isolate grounds, and prevent noise currents from entering the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. ISO7241 has three channels in the same direction and one channel in opposition. The C option devices have TTL input thresholds and a noise filter at the input that prevents transient pulses from being passed to the output of the device. The M option devices have CMOS V_CC/2 input thresholds and do not have the input noise filter or the additional propagation delay.
