Noise Suppression Measures for HDMI 2.1

HDMI is a digital interface using differential signaling and is designed for the transmission of digital video and audio. The interface is widely used throughout the audio-visual market. HDMI 2.1 is an extension of HDMI 2.0, and it supports speeds that are twice as fast as HDMI 2.0.

Noise Suppression Measures for Wi-Fi 6

Wi-Fi® 6 is growing in demand because it is accessible even in crowded environments. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) set up the standard IEEE 802.11ax for Wi-Fi 6. Its use is expected for public Wi-Fi in extremely crowded locations, such as stations and airports. Wi-Fi 6 offers enhanced maximum transmission speed through modulation (1024QAM) and orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA), a technology that effectively assigns packets to multiple users. However, the modulation (1024QAM) is weak against noise, and the importance of noise suppression measures may increase compared to conventional standards.

Noise Suppression for USB 4

Universal Serial Bus (USB) is used worldwide as a differential interface standard for data transmission primarily between hosts, such as computers, and devices. The requirements for high-capacity data transmission over high-speed communication routes and the integration of various existing differential interface standards in the market led to the development of a new USB 4 standard in September 2019. USB 4 is expected to become widely adopted in computers and their peripherals in the coming years. Murata researched noise issues with USB communication and ways to counter that noise.

EMI Noise Suppression

Noise suppression has become an important issue, especially regarding electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Murata provides engineers with complete support, including products and design-simulation software solutions based on expertise achieved through extensive on-site experience. This enables Murata to provide noise suppression solutions for a broad array of applications.

NFG Common Mode Noise Filter

Murata Electronics NFG Common Mode Noise Filter offers a 100mA current rating, an insertion loss range of 19 to 29dB, and a 10MΩ insulation resistance. The NFG series is compatible with the high-speed, large-capacity, new transmission standard MIPI C-PHY. Murata Electronics NFG Common Mode Noise Filter is ideal for note PCs, mobile phones, and digital still/video camera applications.

WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes)

Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode Power Line Inductors (Chokes) feature a compact design that delivers high suppression of asymmetric interferences, even at low-frequency ranges. In addition, these inductors provide broadband screening due to a low capacitance winding technique. Würth Elektronik WE-CMB Common Mode, Power Line Inductors, are ideal for power electronics and suppressing common-mode noises. Parasitics can have a significant effect on the noise attenuation and current rating of a common mode filter. Würth designed the WE-CMB series for minimal parasitic effects over its useful frequency bandwidth so it does what it is designed to do - get rid of the noise.
