TPS92663A-Q1 High-Brightness LED Matrix Manager

Texas Instruments TPS92663A-Q1 High-Brightness LED Matrix Manager enables fully dynamic adaptive lighting solutions by providing individual pixel-level LED control. The device includes two sub-strings of three series-connected integrated switches for bypassing individual LEDs. The individual sub-strings allow the device to accept single or multiple current sources. It also allows a parallel connection of two switches to bypass high-current LEDs.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.

TPS92663-Q1 Automotive LED Matrix Managers

Texas Instruments TPS92663-Q1 High-Brightness LED Matrix Manager for Automotive Headlight Systems offers a fully dynamic adaptive lighting solution. The device provides individual pixel-level LED control and includes two sub-strings of three series-connected integrated switches for bypassing individual LEDs. Single or multiple current sources can be accepted by the individual sub-strings and a parallel connection of two switches to bypass high-current LEDs. A multi-drop universal asynchronous receiver transmitter (UART) serial interface controls the device through a master microcontroller. CAN transceivers can be used supported through the serial interface for a stronger physical layer. LED binning and coding is possible by an on-device 8-bit ADC with two multiplexed inputs used for system temperature compensation. An open LED protection is featured on the TPS92663-Q1 with a programmable threshold. The TPS92663-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
