TPA6404Q1EVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TPA6404Q1EVM Amplifier Evaluation Module (EVM) demonstrates the TPA6404-Q1 integrated circuit. The TPA6404-Q1 device is a four-channel analog-input Class-D audio amplifier that implements a 2.1MHz PWM switching frequency. This feature enables a cost-optimized solution in a tiny PCB size. The TPA6404Q1EVM supports 4 BTL output channels, four differential inputs, and an onboard USB-I2C controller for GUI-driven evaluation and diagnostics. The evaluation module is a complete automotive Class-D analog input amplifier ready for evaluation and an excellent listening experience. The Texas Instruments TPA6404Q1EVM design's CISPR25-L5 compliant EMC performance simplifies system design, lowers development costs, and accelerates time-to-market delivery. The evaluation module provides four channels at 27W into 4Ω at 10% THD+N and 45W into 2Ω at 10% THD+N from a 14.4V supply; 40W into 4Ω at 10% THD+N from an 18V supply; 50W into 2Ω at 10% THD+N from a 16V supply.
