Processing radar data in ADAS systems requires some serious processing power. This often requires at least a 32-bit dual-core with floating point support. Specialized algorithms analyze the data from the radar receiver and transceiver to identify surrounding objects and, if necessary, alert the driver or even make a decision to activate the brakes or steering.
