Carling Technologies Hydraulic-Magnetic Circuit Breakers offer reliable, highly precise solutions to most design challenges and are available with multiple configurations. The circuit breakers are temperature stable and not appreciably affected by changes in ambient temperature, and their overcurrent mechanism only reacts to changes in current in the circuit being protected. These hydraulic-magnetic series from Carling Technologies offer multiple configuration options, advanced features, and cutting-edge designs that meet leading application requirements.
A-Series
Designed for general-purpose and full amp load applications, A-Series circuit breakers offer a 50A current rating, 1 to 6 poles, and an 80VDC maximum voltage rating. Visi Rocker® and recessed paddle actuators are made for clean, front-panel designs, while the metal toggle configuration is made for harsh environments. These compact devices are suitable for generators, welders, industrial automation, medical equipment, and military applications.
C-Series
Compact and robust, these C-Series circuit breakers are designed for high amperage and voltage applications. The devices are available with 1- to 6-pole configurations and are rated up to 100A, 480VAC/80VDC, or 240VAC/125VDC for UL 489 configurations. These circuit breakers employ a unique arc chute design that enables higher interrupting capacities of up to 10,000A.
J-Series
J-Series circuit breakers feature a maximum interrupting capacity of 10,000A, making them ideally suited for high-power density applications. Applications include datacom/telecom, AC power distribution units, power-dense motors and controls, AC power supplies, and marine applications.
M-Series
The M-Series offers high performance in a compact, front-panel mount design and features multiple agency approvals and options for terminals, actuators, and panel hardware styles for extensive design flexibility. The wiping contacts assure longevity, and these miniature circuit breakers are available as a 1-, 2-, or parallel-pole configuration, rated from 0.02A to 50A. The M-Series is suitable for power supplies, medical equipment, generators, and marine applications.
MS-Series
Featuring a sealed metal toggle actuator, the MS-Series circuit breakers have a rugged design that meets IP68 requirements and MIL-PRF-39019F ingress protection when panel mounted. Compliant with MIL-PRF-55629 and MIL-STD 202 standards, These modules are ideal for COTS military applications, crucial communication equipment, and other mission-critical components.
G-Series
G-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers combine maximum protection with ease of use. These DIN-rail circuit breakers provide common trip linkage, a unique terminal bus connection system, finger-safe terminals, and wiping contacts for added longevity. The G-Series is rated up to 80A, 480VAC/80VDC or 50A, 240VAC/125VDC for UL 489 and has a 5000A maximum interrupting capacity. Applications include control panels, lighting, industrial automation, renewable energy, and telecom.
