Hammond Manufacturing Eclipse Series (SE Kits)
Hammond Manufacturing Eclipse Series (SE Kits) features a variety of enclosure sizes, all bundled into kits with a matching pre-tapped inner panel and DIN rails, complete with installation hardware. These kits offer flexibility, allowing users to adapt a single box to multiple applications. The rugged enclosures are constructed from formed mild steel and finished with an ANSI 61 smooth gray powder coat. The enclosure sizes range from 16" x 16" x 6" up to 24" x 24" x 12". The enclosure door closes with a slotted quarter-turn latch, and bonding studs are installed on both the door and inside the enclosure. The pre-drilled inner panels are made from 12-gauge steel finished in a white powder coat.
The DIN rails of these Hammond kits are made of zinc-plated and dichromated galvanized steel. The rails provide convenient installation for DIN-mounted enclosures and components, and the hardware installation components include #8-32 x 5/16" pan-head Phillips screws. The Eclipse SE kits are UL 508A Type 3R, 4, and 12 listed and meet IEC 60529 standards. The continuous welded seams and poured-in-place gaskets deliver NEMA 4 (IP66) protection against water and dust.
