KEMET Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators

KEMET Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators are based on a proprietary element structure design and piezoelectric ceramic materials with high electrostrictive factors. These actuators are smaller in size than conventional piezoelectric actuators but can produce higher displacements and forces at a low voltage. KEMET Multilayer Piezoelectric Actuators feature 150VDC maximum driving voltage, ±20% capacitance tolerance, and insulation resistance of 1MΩ or higher. The actuator lineup includes the AE and AER series as resin-coated products and the AHB, ASB, and ASL series, which are metal-sealed to provide better protection against ambient humidity, offering higher performance and an extended operational lifetime.
