Vishay Semiconductors TSMP98100 Miniature IR Sensor Module is a photo detector and preamplifier in one package. Designed as an IR filter, the epoxy-packaged device features a PIN diode and preamplifier assembled on a lead frame. The Vishay Semiconductors TSMP98100 receives the modulated signals of infrared remote control systems. With the modulated output signal (carrier out), TSMP98100 can be used for repeater and code-learning applications.
