March 13, 2025Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, is now stocking cutting-edge RF and EMI components from Molex. These components are designed to improve signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility for mission-critical aerospace and defense applications.

Connectors and components for aerospace and defense applications must adhere to AS9100, MIL-SPEC and DO-160 standards to ensure safety and reliability in extreme environments. Filtered connectors play a vital role in safeguarding communications from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI). Ruggedized components ensure reliability across autonomous systems in a range of harsh environments.

Available from Mouser, Molex Fixed RF Coaxial Attenuators deliver accurate and consistent power levels and low passive intermodulation (PIM) for high-performance applications. These attenuators are engineered with solderless contacts to withstand wide temperature ranges, shock and vibration forces, and harsh environmental conditions. The fixed RF coaxial attenuators are offered for power ratings from 0.5 to 100 watts and frequencies ranging from DC to 50 GHz. Connectors include 2.92mm, N-Type, and SMA, providing compatibility with 3.50mm, K-type, and MIL-STD-348 connectors. These attenuators are ideal for aircraft, SATCOM uplinks, radar systems, wireless communications, and more.

Molex EMI-Filtered High-Performance D-Sub Connectors provide a reliable solution to mitigate electromagnetic interference in demanding environmental electronic systems. These products enhance signal integrity (SI), comply with regulatory standards and offer a versatile, space-saving design that simplifies implementation while improving the overall performance and reliability of system applications. Integrated EMI filters provide additional space on the PCB board, and their one-piece, die-cast connector shells provide a ground-plane shielded interface. These connectors are suitable for flight and engine controls, navigation systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), cellular base stations, and similar applications.

Molex EMI Filter Plates deliver advanced protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) for high-performance systems, enhance reliability and system performance by helping safeguard critical components, and optimize functionality across multiple lines. Their design eliminates the need to assemble discrete filters into the bulkhead, reducing assembly time and costs. With up to 50 lines in a compact form factor, the filter plate saves space compared to discrete filters. Compliant with stringent industry standards, the Molex EMI Filter Plates are ideal for harsh environments in the aerospace, defense and telecommunications industries.
