Featuring extensive connectivity capabilities, the Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway allows users to capture data from Bluetooth^® 5-enabled sensors, augment the data with cloud-managed edge intelligence, and transmit it to the cloud via Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wave 2 with 2×2 MIMO or LTE wireless connectivity.

The Laird Connectivity Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway, available from Mouser Electronics, delivers efficient multi-band Cat 1 LTE connectivity with 3G/2G fallback, with required SIM and LTE data allowance activated. The gateway is available in two variants: one with integrated Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT Greengrass and the other with a Linux build. The AWS IoT Greengrass version includes managed IoT security services (such as a pre-configured AWS IoT Greengrass sandbox) and deployment tools. This variant allows users to deploy applications instantly over-the-air, and the AWS IoT core enables data to flow directly to the cloud. The Linux Build version is a long-term supported, open platform with Laird Connectivity's Linux Buildroot platform and hardware root of trust. This version is ideal for engineering organizations with embedded Linux experience that require multi-wireless connectivity.

The Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway is also available as part of the IG60-BL654-LTE + BT510 IoT Starter Kit. The starter kit includes the AWS version of the IG60-BL654-LTE gateway and three BT510 Bluetooth 5-enabled sensors. The kit enables users to test and develop proof-of-concept IoT solutions for temperature sensing, vibration sensing, door open/close reporting, and proximity sensing.

The Sentrius IG60-BL654-LTE gateway includes regulatory approvals for FCC (USA), IC (Canada), CE (Europe), MIC (Japan), and UL. LTE variants to date carry PTCRB, GCF and AT&T certifications. The gateway is ideal for applications such as IIoT, medical IoT, Bluetooth 5 sensor connectivity, and smart buildings.
