Texas Instruments TAC5311-Q1 Automotive Mono Audio Codec
Texas Instruments TAC5311-Q1 Automotive Mono Audio Codec is a low-power mono codec with 10VRMS differential input, 104dB ADC, and 2VRMS differential output, 114dB DAC. This audio codec supports both differential and single-ended inputs and outputs. The TAC5311-Q1 codec offers an integrated high-voltage, programmable microphone bias and input diagnostic circuitry connecting microphone-based automotive systems with full fault diagnostic capability for direct-coupled inputs. This audio codec operates at a 3V to 10V programmable microphone bias with an integrated efficient boost converter or an external high voltage HVDD supply. The TAC5311-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. Typical applications include emergency call-e-call, telematics control units, automotive active noise cancellations, and automotive head units. The TAC5311-Q1 codec supports Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM), I2S, or Left-justified (LJ) audio formats and can be controlled with I2C or SPI. This device includes low-latency and ultra-low-latency decimation/interpolation filter options.
