Toshiba TLP170AM & TLP170GM Photorelays

Toshiba TLP170AM and TLP170GM Photorelays have an infrared LED coupled to a photo-MOSFET. TLP170AM and TLP170GM are housed in a 4-pin SO6 package and are suitable for surface-mount assembly. These devices are ideal for battery management systems that have space limitations. These products feature a maximum trigger LED current of 1mA that reduces input side power loss by increasing the sensitivity of the photodiode array. Also, photorelays have no movable contacts, so these devices are known to have better long-term reliability than mechanical relays.

The Toshiba TLP170AM and TLP170GM Photorelays have an operating temperature range of -20°C to +85°C and are UL and cUL recognized and VDE approved.
